Background

The Baltimore Museum of Industry is a converted mid-to-late 20th century cannery. It now serves to preserve the industrial history of downtown Baltimore. It also serves as a distinctive wedding venue where guests can drink, learn while drinking, eat, and enjoy being surrounded by local history while they party the night away.

Fun fact: The Baltimore, the oldest surviving steam powered tugboat (and National Historic Landmark), is located here.

Pricing

There's some disagreement around the interwebs regarding pricing for the Baltimore Museum of Industry. For example, the Baltimore Sun's information is from an article published in 2014.

I'll provide all pricing info for completeness, but I recommend reaching out directly to their event team for a quote.

Here Comes the Guide$4,500 to $8,000
Baltimore Sun$1,000

Rental fees also depend on the day of the week and if you choose to add additional premium gallery spaces for $300/space. These spaces include the Machine Shop and Cannery, Garment Loft, and Print Shop.

Oh, and there's free on-site parking so guests won't have to find street parking or a garage.

Available Spaces

Guest capacity for the Baltimore Museum of Industry is 300 for a ceremony, 500 standing only, and 250 for a seated reception.

The Decker Gallery (named after the founder of Black & Decker) is the primary event space and has access to an outdoor terrace with a great view of Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The Decker Gallery is available from 6:00 pm to midnight.

This space includes floor-to-ceiling windows so there's always natural light and a great view of the harbor.

As mentioned before, other spaces available for an additional fee include the Machine Shop and Cannery, Garment Loft, and Print Shop.
