The Georgetown Waterfront is a great spot to propose to your significant other. It's also one of the most popular spots second to the Lincoln Memorial. It has beautiful views of the Kennedy Center, Rosslyn, the Potomac River, and the Key Bridge, and a variety of interesting spots nearby which make for great for portraits. And in the summer, there are large beds of flowers that make it seem like you're in the middle of a flower field out in Virginia.
Some good ways to lure your signifiant other to the spot is to take a stroll ether before or after dinner at one of the many nice restaurants in Georgetown, or go ice skating a little farther down at Waterfront Park in the winter.
