I was about to shoot a proposal (I had ten or so minutes to wait) and I saw two guys trying to take a selfie with their iPhone on a tripod. I offered to take a nice shot with my Nikon D810 instead - here's the result : )
FACT: If you know I'm shooting a proposal at a monument and you want your photo taken, come by beforehand. I'm a sucker for serendipitous photos.
