I attended the District Bliss Vendor Social last Thursday evening as the FEATURED VENDOR! Super exciting, I know. I got to have my own table and everything. Networking events generally scare me but this one was pretty enjoyable - especially since there was delicious sugar-coated popcorn and blissfully pure and fluffy cotton candy.
In case you don’t know what District Bliss is, I’ll let them speak for themselves:
"At District Bliss we believe in supporting everyone regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation – anything and anyone. We are all laid-back, kind-hearted individuals working to foster a supportive, welcoming community – and hopefully make everyone around us a little happier. We focus on celebrating you! From providing inspiration, connections, support, DIY Workshops to a fun evening out – we bring you District Bliss Socials."
They host both vendor and couples socials. The vendor socials are designed for wedding industry creatives to meet and mingle, whereas the couple socials are a chance for vendors to meet prospective clients in a low-pressure environment. Basically, the exact opposite of the (usually) horrible and (always) huge bridal shows.
